Home Information Packs
From 14th December 2007 a Home Information Pack will be required for all properties that come to the market. Please note that at his time, properties that were on the market prior to the relevant commencement date (1 August 2007 for 4+ beds, 10 September 2007 for 3 beds, 14 December 2007 for 1 & 2 beds) do not need a HIP.

How you present your home for sale can have a huge impact on your success in selling it. Here are just a few tips for showing your home in its best light:

• Make sure your home is clean - including the skirting boards, the curtains and windows.
• De-clutter - now is the time to get rid of all that clutter. No point taking it to your new home!
• Make sure nothing needs fixing ie that dripping tap
• Make sure your house smells nice – try to air your property as much as possible or use the old trick of baking bread.
• First impressions count - make sure the front of your house is smart and tidy, the lawns are mowed, make sure the bell works and the letter box is shiny and clean.
